The End Hunger Fast campaign is gathering pace - latest news here. More and more people are signing up for a day of fasting next Friday, April 4th.
Meanwhile, the political leaders seen determined to make bigger fools of themselves over this issue - the latest comment from a Conservative councillor is that there isn't a need for food banks, because restaurants are full.
Next Friday, I'm going to be doing the dawn to dusk fast, meaning from about 6.30am to 8.00pm. If i'm feeling energetic, I might get up at 6.00 and have a bowl of porridge!
I'm getting a bit apprehensive about how I'll get through the day without any food - which of course is the point - many people are having to do this day in, day out, with no choice.
It is my hope that this day of action can send a message to the Government, and something can be done.
