Farewell to two great men

2 great socialist men left us this week.

Bob Crow, leader of the RMT union died suddenly on Tuesday.

Bob started as a railwayman, worked his way up to become union leader, and fought tirelessly for his members, and improved conditions for workers in his industry.

Then, this morning, comes then news that Tony Benn has passed away.

Tony famously renounced his peerage to enable him to continue to represent his constituents as Member of Parliament for Bristol South East, and served in cabinet as Postmaster General and Secretary of State for Industry.

Both were men of principle, standing up for their beliefs through thick & thin.

RIP Bob & Tony.

  1. Tony Benn was brilliant, a great man of principle, and one of my Heroes. Would that there were more men and women of his calibre in the House of Commons now
