Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

No, not these two...

I mean this...

We went to see this show at the Savoy Theatre last Thursday evening.  Starring Robert Lindsay and Rufus Hound, the show has has some good reviews, and plays to packed houses.

OK, it's not the most intellectually stimulating piece of theatre, but I didn't go to see it for that, I went to be entertained.  And entertained I was.

Some wonderful songs, a fantastic group of ensemble dancers, knowing winks to the audience, and Lindsay at 64 years old dances and moves like a man half his age.

The plot centers around a couple of con-men in a French seaside resort, trying to keep up their lifestyle, whilst avoiding another con artist known only as "The Jackal".

To say much more would be to verge into spoiler territory, but suffice to say that the cast had the audience in the palm of their hand throughout.

Highly recommended.
