Ross Castle

We visited Ross Castle on our holiday.  The castle is an example of an Irish Cheiftain's stronghold from the middle ages.  We didn't go into the castle itself, having visited it on a previous occasion.  We did, however take a walk round the grounds, and enjoyed the view across the lake:

On the way back, we took a few pics of nearby Torc waterfall:

I love the way the sunlight reflects on the water as it splashes off the rocks.
