I've been taking part in the Facebook "3 positives for 5 days" challenge - for those who don't know, you are nominated by one of your friends to post 3 positive things about your day. You then nominate 3 of your friends, and on it goes.
Some of my items include:
Had a fantastic meal at The White Peacock.
Came home to fresh baked bread thanks to our bread maker.
Having a relaxing evening in front of the telly.
Had some nice roast duck for lunch.
It's about appreciating the small things in life that make us happy - whilst we have highlights from time to time, holidays, family celebrations etc - we all need to take time to remember the day-to-day things that give us pleasure.
I've done my 5 days of Facebook postings, but I'm going to try and keep remembering the positive things that happen each day, and give thanks for them.
