On to a truck stop...with a difference!

This was a truck stop for camels!!!

Back in the days when Turkey was on one of the main trade routes from China to Europe, roadside inns called Caravanserai were used for camel drivers to rest and recover during the long journey.

We visited the Caravanserai of Sultanhi, which dates from the 13th century.
