Christmas Tree Festival

Our local parish church, St Crispins, held their annual Christmas Tree festival this past weekend.

A number of local groups each decorated a tree with something relevant to their activities:

National Trust - photos of various properties

From a local wildlife group.

Church Lads' and Girls' Brigades did a "sweet tooth tree"

The local Brownie Pack (of which my wife is a leader) did a tree with facts about Brownies in years gone by - celebrating 100 years of Brownies.

Braunstone Trefoil Guild celebrating 30 years

Braunstone Town Council - commemorating 100 years since the start of WWI

The N'Ukes - a local ukulele group.

Not sure who did this one, it's lovely though!

The Poet-Tree

"Happy Veg"

It made for a lovely display - a lot of work went into all of the trees, and it was really nice to see them all.

  1. How super- lovely to see a good community event like this!

    1. I'll expect to see one in Ferndown next year!!!
