So, Farewell then, Bob & Ang

My minister Bob Almond took his final service at Kirby Muxloe Free Church yesterday - he's moving to Ferndown in Dorset to take up a new ministry there.

I've been part of the fellowship at KMFC for around 8 years, and Bob & Ang have become firm friends in that time.

The services yesterday were emotional - in the morning, Bob spoke about trusting in God, and having faith to plan for greater things.

The evening was a churches together service - a fitting end to Bob's ministry in Kirby Muxloe.

Words can't say how much I'll miss them both - I came to KMFC feeling a bit fragile, needing to take things slowly and not get caught up in church life straight away.  It's not especially relevant to go into my previous experiences, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a member of a fellowship again.  Now, of course, I'm part of the music group, part of the youthwork team, and I have many friends at KMFC - that's in no small part down to Bob & Ang's friendship, and their nurturing.

I'm sure they'll make many friends at their new church, and they will use their gifts to bring many more people on, and get people to where God needs them to be.

Every blessing to you both, and we'll make sure we stay in touch.
